A man has created a petition to the White House to make Monday after the Super Bowl a national holiday.

Josh Moore, a fantasy football website owner, said his main reasons for starting the petition: more productivity at work and to make the streets safer for our kids.

Ashley Monroe, who attends a school in Massachusetts, wrote out 1,986 sticky notes. Each said, "You're beautiful," and she stuck one to every locker in my entire school.

It was almost unbearable to listen people put themselves down every day. They would say things like, "I'm ugly" or "No one likes me." To me, that wasn't the truth. For at least one day, I wanted everyone to know that someone thought they were beautiful.

PICS OF FOOD

I was at lunch yesterday and noticed a couple of ladies whipping out their smart phones and taking pictures of their lunch.

i've heard of this before and seen it on Facebook a few times, but it wasn't until i came across an article that talked about some restaurants in New York that are putting a stop tonit.

This growing trend is commonly known as foodstagram, a photo taken on a cellphone and quickly posted online.

In case you missed it, this past Sunday if you pay using your credit card you could charged a fee.

 

It’s all due to the terms of a $7.2 billion settlement reached last summer between credit card companies and merchants, merchants will be free to impose a surcharge on customers paying by credit card.

 

How big a surcharge depends on how much the merchant pays in processing fees, but the amount legally permissible will be between 1.5 percent and 4 percent of your purchase price.

We are so proud of another great bunch of kids right here in Tennessee who pulled off quite a surprise at their Homecoming celebration.

Students Jesse Cooper, Drew Gibbs and Zeke Grissom were all nominated for homecoming king at Community High School's basketball homecoming ceremony.  But these 3 had something else in mind at the crowning.

Special Needs Boy

Do you have any hang-outs?  You know, places where you go and the folks there seem to know you... That’s how it was for the Castillo family (Kim, Milo and the rest of the family), who dine a lot at Laurenzo’s Prime Rib in Houston. They were there last Wednesday and everyone was stopping by to say “hello.” The chef, the waiter and waitresses, the manager, it’s a feel good time because little 5 year old Milo who has down syndrome.

Research shows the threshold for pain is higher in men; but women always say you haven’t gone through LABOR and if men had to have the babies, there would be NONE!

So how bad can it really be? Two Dutch television hosts Dennis Storm and Valerio Zeno thought, "Well, let’s try it."  So the duo was filmed for their show “Guinea Pigs” going through labor.

 

In the video clip from the show (link below), the two men used electro-stimulations to simulate the contractions.  The electrodes were attached to their abdomens and the experiment began...

The buzz: did Beyounce lip-sync the national anthem?

Reports are surfacing that the star wasn't singing live.

Beyoncé has been widely praised for her beautiful rendition of the national anthem at Monday's presidential inauguration.

But even after seeing her triumphantly pull her earpiece out as she belted out the words, buzz is now bubbling up that the superstar wasn't singing it live.
