This event will be held at 0800 (8:00 AM) on 22 June, 2013 at the Tellico - TVA Boat Ramp between the Fort Loudon Dam and the Tellico Bridge at the intersection of the TN 321 and Tellico Parkway County Road 444. Entering the area take the immediate right and follow the signs to parking. Parking will be in the grass areas to the left and right of the road leading to the pavilion. Bearden HS NJROTC and the SMSD thank you for your participation in this event.

As part of its “Discovering the Civil War” exhibit, the Farragut Folklife Museum will host “The Battle of Campbell Station and the Struggle for East Tennessee in the Civil War” on Sunday, June 23 at 2 p.m. at the Farragut Town Hall. The exhibit and presentation are in celebration of the Civil War Sesquicentennial – or 150th anniversary – in 2013.

Riverside Rentals’ Relay for Life team will be hosting their second annual “Kayaking for a Cure” event with Kayak and Tube Racing, Bingo, Silent Auctions, Lots of Food and activities for all ages on July 13, 2013 from 11am-6pm. Rain date will be August 3, 2013. Riverside Rentals is located at 327 Riverside Road, Harrogate, TN 37752. Registration for the kayak and tube racing will be done on that date. Please mark your calendars and help us make this event a success in our fight for a cure. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
