William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream deals with love and all its complications: lust, disappointment, confusion, and marriage. The plots focuses on three parallel stories: the difficulties of two sets of lovers running away to a magical forest, a group of “rude mechanicals” (poor craftsmen) attempting to stage an amateur play, and the argument between the Fairy King and Queen.
Upcoming singer/musician Mr. Adam Melton will be hosting a free music event at the international Storytelling Center, in Jonesborough, TN on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 1:00pm.
The event featured is "Dream Of Helping" which will benefit Saint Judes Children's Research Hospital. Any donations being made will go directly to Saint Jude's. A free drink and desert ( while supplies last) will be offered to any guests attending. For more information please call.

You know all of that old junk you have in the basement or garage? Remember how many times you have promised yourself that you would do something about that mess? Let us help. The North Side Y will be hosting a Community Yard Sale on Saturday July 19th from 8:00am until noon. You will be able to set up on our beautiful field located directly behind our facility and sell your items to the Saturday morning yard sale crowd. The price for a space is $20 and tables are available for $5 each. All money raised will go towards the North Side Y’s Annual Campaign.

Oliver Springs, a quaint community nestled in the foothills of East Tennessee, was established in 1821 as a coal mining town and has a varied history. When the mining phased out in the 1960’s the scenic hills and valleys remained.
How often do you find a band that sounds great live and on CD? The Giving Tree Band is one of those bands! These five guys live and travel together and that shines through in their live energetic shows. The energy in the room cannot be duplicated and cannot be denied.
