Gator Fight

This is one tough kid!.

Did you hear the interview from the Florida teen Kaleb Langdale who recounted the frantic life and death struggle between him and an alligator?

He was talking to reporters from his hospital bed, less than 24 hours after the fight.

He’s 17 and despite being attacked by an 11-foot gator Monday while swimming with friends he’s in good spirits.

Here’s Kaleb describing what happened and how he got away.

Despite the attack, the 17-year-old plans to be back out on the water as soon as he gets the go ahead from his doctors.

The family of a Moore Haven teen who lost part of his right arm to an alligator on Monday is raising money for a prosthetic arm.

An online fundraising page for 17-year-old Kaleb Langdale, known as Fred, says the avid airboater and hunter also has a passion for welding and hoped to become an instrumental electrician.

The goal for the drive is $500,000. So far, $50 has been raised.
