Listener Email: "My Boss is a Grinch!"

Hey My Favorite Morning Team,

I have been asked by my co-workers to ask the company I work for to do something about our manager.

I’ve been with this company for 15 years and me and my co-workers LOVE Christmas!

Our new boss started here 2 1/2 months ago and he’s a pretty nice guy. Very corporate like and a couple of days ago we learned something else about him. He’s a Jehovah’s Witness and therefore does not celebrate Christmas.

We found out while some of us were streaming your Christmas music channel and started decorating the office. He was on a business trip and he returned sent out a memo saying due to his religious beliefs this office will not be celebrating Christmas nor will there be a Christmas party.

WHAT!?!?! While I respect his beliefs... what about the rest of us? So my co-workers want me to contact the main office and complain.

Here’s my dilemma. I don’t know my new boss, I’m a single mom with 2 kids, I’ve been here 15 years and this is all I know. If I contact corporate and they contact him I’m worried he’ll get rid of the problem and fire me.

What do I do?

Please help us bring back the Christmas cheer for our workplace.
