Reminder for Summer: Swimming Dangers
REMINDER OF THE DANGERS
Police in Nashville say a 4-year-old girl has died after being found at the bottom of a swimming pool.
Police were called to the home in the Antioch neighborhood on Saturday evening where Keisha Jordan was discovered at the bottom of a pool in about six feet of water.
According to Nashville police, there were adults at the house where the girl was swimming, but officers were told that the girl apparently removed her arm floats while in the pool.
Youth Services detectives said the drowning appears to be an accident.
BE CAREFUL AROUND POOLS! WATCH THE KIDS CLOSELY!
- THERE WAS A MEDICAL CALL I HEARD ON THE SCANNER OF A 3 YEAR OLD FOUND IN A SWIMMING POOL ON FRIDAY, LUCKILY THAT ONE TURNED OUT OKAY.
- YOU WOULD THINK BY NOW THEY WOULD STOP SELLING ARM FLOATS, THERE ARE WORTHLESS. THE BEST SUIT RYLEE HAD WAS THE ONE THAT HAD FLOATS INSIDE A VEST AND SHE WORE IT LIKE A SWIMMING VEST.
