A pinwheel garden will be on display on the main floor of the City
County Building in Downtown Knoxville. The pinwheels represent the
children born in Tennessee every year.
Knoxville is a participating city for Let's Move Cities, Towns, and
Counties, or LMCTC. It's a major piece of First Lady Michelle Obama's
Let's Move! campaign, which works to fight childhood obesity.
Allegiant Air 883 was bound for St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport in
Florida. According to airport officials, the pilot declared an Alert 2
emergency around 3:22 pm.
Officials with Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations have confirmed that
the body of Christopher Ward of Oak Ridge will be transported back to
Dover Air Force Base on Monday.
