Intense flames at a home on South Creek Road off Maryville Pike caused
the brick facade on the front of the house to collapse on top of a
firefighter. He then fell from a window to the ground.
Some Knoxville area volunteers are helping victims of the ongoing
flooding across parts of the Midwest. The Red Cross East Tennessee
region has deployed 13 volunteers to provide relief.
