The U.S. Senate is expected to have its first vote on new gun laws
Thursday. The president has called for expanded background checks, bans
on assault weapons, and bans on high capacity magazines.
The owners of a dog found shot in the face Monday night came forward Tuesday
afternoon, but the veterinarian who's been treating the dog said the owners
have no idea what happened.
April 4th, 1968, Reverend Harold Middlebrook was just feet below the Lorraine Motel balcony as his friend, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., fell to the ground. Like Dr. King, the Civil Rights movement has consumed Middlebrook's life.
