Like a lot of people, Dr. Charles Raper's eyes have been glued to the
television screen as he watched the manhunt for the second suspect accused of
detonating two bombs during Monday's Boston Marathon.
Pilot Flying J C.E.O. Jimmy Haslam spoke to the media Friday afternoon,
but took no questions, about the questions surrounding the company and
an alleged scheme to defraud some customers.
The Tennessee House of Representatives rejected a plan to redraw the
state's judicial districts, dealing a rebuke to Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey on
what is expected to be the last day of the legislative session.
The city and its suburbs remain in lockdown Friday afternoon as a
massive manhunt intensifies for the surviving suspect in the Boston
Marathon bombings. The search comes just hours after the suspect's older
brother died following a dramatic shootout with police in nearby
Watertown.
