TWRA officers said they caught a bear Saturday afternoon they believe to be the same bear spotted roaming through Northwest Knoxville earlier this week.
A convicted killer was armed and on the run Friday night just hours
after police said he shot his girlfriend and her three teenage daughters
after an argument at a Madison apartment complex.
The sheriff's office says a drug task force initiated an investigation
after a tip the suspects were attempting to buy pseudoephedrine and
other meth-making materials at local businesses.
