The House Government Operations Committee has recommended passing a
bill to dock welfare payments to parents of children who fail at a
school despite Republican Gov. Bill Haslam's opposition to the measure.
In a press release, the KPD spokesman said the female driver was ejected
from her Acura sedan after it left the roadway, hit a guardrail,
traveled up an embankment and rolled over.
