Campbell County Mayor William Baird says the Campbell County animal shelter is closed indefinitely pending the outcome of a state investigation into accusations of animal abuse by shelter director Betty Crumley.
Campbell County Mayor William Baird says he expects changes to occur at
the Campbell County animal shelter within the next 24 hours. Those
changes could either include closing the shelter or keeping it open with
an interim director.
Jurors also saw graphic pictures of the three victims' bodies. At that point, members of Nelson Soto's families broke down to the point where the judge asked them to leave. Shortly after, court recessed for lunch.
