A grand jury indicted James Wylie, 54, on one count of criminal
homicide, one count of kidnapping and one count of leaving the scene of a
death or personal injury.
Last May, a Knoxville woman picked up a 10-foot U-Haul truck and packed
it with everything she owned. She was planning a move to Nashville,
where the 31-year-old had landed a job as a school teacher.

A portion of Gay Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on
Sunday, May 19th, to allow a roofing contractor to use a construction
crane. During those hours, the street will be closed from Wall Avenue to
Union Avenue.
It will be held on the Magnolia Avenue Campus of Pellissippi State
Community College. The employers will be in the Joe Armstrong Building,
which is located at 1610 E. Magnolia Avenue, Tuesday from 2:00-5:00 pm.
