Officers say Clark noticed a vehicle speeding toward the crossing, and a
6-year-old girl was still in the middle of the street. Clark ran to the
girl and tossed her out of the way so she wouldn't get hit by the car.
With more than 150,000 homeless veterans nationwide, many of their
deaths may go unnoticed and without the proper burial. But now, one
Knoxville veteran won't be forgotten.
All day Thursday and Friday, Star 102.1 will be live at West Town Mall
with their annual radiothon. For the past 12 years, the crew has
broadcast from the mall in hopes of raising thousands of dollars.
