Dr. Steve Adair is a board-certified veterinary surgeon at the
University of Tennessee. For about the past year, his resume has also
included "Anheuser-Busch."
She wrote about that experience in the book, "Joplin: Our Words, Our
Stories, Their Hope", which shares the experience of two dozen former
KOMU reporters who helped cover the story in the wake of devastation.
Wednesday, officials dedicated the Lifestar helicopter hangar to Norman
Majors and named the Lifestar building after Dr. Rober Lash, the man who
founded the Air Medical Service.
It's been more than a month since a Campbell County animal shelter
closed amid allegations that animals were improperly euthanized, but
now, some residents said they are concerned because pets are being
abandoned in their neighborhood.
