The Department of Children's Services will announce a reorganization
of the state's $630 million child welfare agency on Monday afternoon,
the agency said today.

The Boot Scootin Ball raises money for Knoxville Area Project Access, or
KAPA. It works with physicians, hospitals and other health care
providers to provide donated medical care to those without health
insurance.

sun went down Friday night. Dogwood After Dark featured wine tasting in
Downtown Knoxville.
A familiar face joined Knox County Republicans Friday night for their
annual Lincoln Day dinner. Former presidential candidate and senator Ron
Paul was the keynote speaker.
The historic Gatlinburg Inn is making a comeback. It will reopen on May
1st under new management, but it's still owned by one the two families
who built and preserved the landmark for more than 75 years.
