- Congratulations to Tracy Thomas who was B97.5's April Teacher of the Month! Mrs. Thomas is a first grade teacher at Halls Elementary School in Knoxville. She was nominated by Ana Arellano, mother of student Taylor Arellano. Taylor is new to Knoxville and appreciates all Mrs. Thomas has done to welcome her into the classroom.
- To kick off the Spring Prom season, B97.5 and the Boys and Girls Club in Halls/Powell hosted a Prom Dress Fashion Show. All dresses were available for sale for only $25 dollars! All proceeds were donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Halls/Powell. In addition to lots of sequins and glamour, attendees enjoyed door prizes and booths from several vendors such as the lovely Mary Kay. Thank you to all of those who showed your support!
